a bit about my
Education
Years before I came a therapist, I read therapy textbooks just for the fun of it!
(and yes, I'm 100% serious!)
My LOVE of reading therapy textbooks made me realize that becoming a therapist might just be something that I should consider!
I love that Marriage and Family Therapists are trained to understand problems within a broader context. They consider the larger environment, culture, and system. In school, I was taught to examine the interconnection of your life to provide holistic treatments that empower you.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy. I was honored to receive the “Trustee’s Award for Academic Excellence,” an award given to the student with the highest academic rank in a graduating class.
