Anxiety

Your brain has opened an investigation, and apparently the office never closes. That’s anxiety in one sentence. The thirteen articles here are the longer version.

Some are for you: panic and what’s actually happening in your body during one, overthinking and how to get out of the loop, how to notice what you’re feeling before it’s running the day. Some are for parents: how anxiety looks different in a teenager, what social media is and isn’t doing, and when a change in your kid’s behavior is worth a conversation with someone outside the house.

Start with whichever question is closest to the one keeping you up. You don’t have to read all thirteen. Turning “understand my anxiety” into another assignment you have to complete perfectly is, you may have noticed, the problem.

All three of our therapists see anxiety; Christie Jansing, LCSW, accepts insurance and sees Florida clients online. When you want help with your own patterns rather than a general explanation of them, here’s anxiety therapy in Indianapolis.
